Our dedicated team is ready to help you go after your goals.  We have lots of personal experience growing food, creating permaculture designs, and installing food systems.  Each GYGO Trainer comes with their own unique skills and abilities!  When it comes down to it, we want you to succeed and we have been helping people grow food for years.  See below for more details.

Lana Medina

Lana believes "the world has slowed, so we can rediscover ourselves." With Lana's 23 years of being in the medical field, she brings the drive to empower people to achieve their goals. Lana is a 

professional garden installer in Washington and a Permaculture designer for clients, all over the states. She has a tremendous passion for growing her homestead, which currently includes Chickens, Bunnies, Dogs, a pet Cameleon, a Food Forest, raised beds and a small Orchard, all in the SUBURBS of Seattle. Lana is fantastic at networking and building strong rapport with people. Lana is GYGO's lead with social media and public relations.

Brandon Moncrief

Obtaining his Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) in 2009, Brandon has a profound love for permaculture and growing food.  He has lived in lots of climates, where he has enjoyed

learning about all the various food plants and micro-climates.  Brandon has a degree in Information Systems and is currently developing a GYGO Learning Center in Costa Rica!  He has spent time on some incredible farms and learned from some truly inspiring teachers.  Brandon helps the GYGO team mostly with Operations.

Dr. Ian Scott DC

Ian has a diverse background and he currently lives in Florida.  Being a car mechanic and then a practicing chiropractor for many years, he brings a lot of skills to the GYGO team. 

Ian is building his own 3 acre homestead with animals and various exotic fruit trees like jaboticaba.  His specialty is knowing the various micro-climates of Florida and he is permaculture designer as well.  One day soon, Ian hopes to have interesting animals on the property, like large tortoises!
